[M]axima Nostra cum displicentia intelligi-
mus, quòd non obstantibûs tam seve-
rîs, & repetitîs Nostrîs Decretîs & Or-
dinationibus ad universos Parochos,
semel, iterum, ac tertiò emanatis non-
nulli Parochorum in taxa Stolæ à Parochianis solvenda
præscriptam in Regiis Patentibus Annô 1750. publicatis
cynosuram etiamnum excedant;
Quapropter vigore præsentium Parochis omnibus, &
Parochialium Administratoribus quàm severissimè exces-
sum omnem in taxa Stolæ à Parochianis exigenda inter-
dicimus, sciántque omnes & singuli Parochi, qui in ali-
quo excessu taxæ Stolæ imposterùm deprehensi fuerint,
eos, si non ad pœnam quadrupli, ad minimum ad pœnam
dupli Parochianis solvendi infallibiliter fore condemnan-
dos, reservata adhuc prætereà in hujusmodi transgresso-
res Nostra sensibili correctione, & animadversione.
Mandamus proinde, ut hocce Nostrum Mandatum &
Decretum omnibus in vestri Vicariatûs Foranei Tractu
existentibus Parochis, & Parochialium Administratoribus
indilatè intimetis, & publicetis, & si aliquem Parochorum
in exigenda taxa Stolæ excessisse deprehenderitis, eun-
dem illicò de nomine ad Nos denunciabitis.

concernit, cum nos Exempti habeamus nostram
taxam, antiquam, et approbatam.
De reliquo solito Nostro Paterno affectu vobis pro-

English translation
With our greatest displeasure we understand that, notwithstanding our so severe and repeated Decrees and Ordinations issued to all Parish Priests, once, twice, and a third time, some of the Parish Priests still exceed the guideline prescribed in the Royal Patents published in the year 1750 regarding the Stole fee to be paid by the parishioners;
Wherefore, by virtue of these presents, we most strictly forbid all Parish Priests and Parochial Administrators from any excess in exacting the Stole fee from the parishioners, and let all and singular Parish Priests know that those who shall hereafter be caught in any excess of the Stole fee, if not to the penalty of fourfold, they will infallibly be condemned to at least the penalty of paying double to the parishioners, reserving still further against such transgressors our sensible correction and animadversion.
We command therefore, that you without delay intimate and publish this our Mandate and Decree to all Parish Priests and Parochial Administrators existing in the tract of your Forane Vicariate, and if you shall catch any of the Parish Priests to have exceeded in exacting the Stole fee, you shall immediately denounce the same by name to Us.

This missive was not to be accepted because it does not concern me, since we, as exempt persons, have our own ancient and approved fee schedule.
For the rest, we remain inclined towards you with our usual paternal affection. Prague, in the Archiepiscopal Chancery, on the 24th day of July in the year 1769.
