Durch den Morgen von hier abfahrenden Fuhr=
mann Urban belieben Sie ein Kistchen mit
Chirurgischen Instrumenten zu erhalten, welche
dem bewusten Zeug-Schmid, oder Instrumenten Macher
zu übergeben, damit er solche, mit ihme abgeredeter
massen zu richten, und aus bessern. wegen denen neu
zu verfertigenden Instrumenten hat es auch sein
Verbleiben, bis ich meinen Krankenwärther nach
Prag sende. Vermög bey liegenden Zetl
aber, bitte dieses einzige Instrument also gleich von
dem H: Instrument macher so schleunig als es nur
möglich seyn kan verfertigen zu laßen, und solches in
Ermangelung einer andern Gelegenheit, auch auf
dem Postwagen bis Jaromirz zu überschicken,

Reverend and Venerable in Christ, Religious Father Subprior!
Through the carter Urban, who departs from here tomorrow morning, please receive a small box with surgical instruments, which are to be handed over to the familiar toolsmith, or instrument maker, so that he may adjust and repair them as agreed with him. As for the instruments to be newly made, matters also remain as they are until I send my infirmarian to Prague.
According to the enclosed note, however, please have this single instrument made immediately by the Mr Instrument Maker as swiftly as it can possibly be, and, in the absence of another opportunity, send it over on the postal coach as far as Jaroměř, because it is for an operation for my dear Brother Arsenius, who has a polyp in his nose, and is full of worry and melancholy about it.

in der Nasen hat, und derbey voller Sorgen
und Wehmüthig ist. Solten die zweenen
Puncten beym hiesigen Zeugschmid fertig seyn, so könten
solche wohl neu gearbeitet überschikt werden; wo
hernach die alten Puncten auf Abschlag nachgesendet
würden. Auch den Staub Mantel, welchen mir V:
P. Prior zur Ausreyße gütig geliehen hat, über=
bringt der Urban. Bitte V. P. Priori hierüber, nebst
meiner ergebensten Empfehlung meinen Dank=
sagung zu melden, und daß ich besser gethan hätte
wann ich einen guten Pelz von ihme ausgeliehen
hätte, wegen der großen Kälte so ich außgestanden
hatte. Das leere Baum Oehl Glaß (von ihrer V. P.) belieben

Should the two points be finished at the local toolsmith's, they could well be sent over newly worked; whereupon the old points would be sent later on account.
Urban is also bringing over the dust coat which Reverend Father Prior kindly lent me for the journey. Please convey my thanks for this to Reverend Father Prior, along with my most devoted respects, and that I would have done better if I had borrowed a good fur coat from him, because of the great cold that I had endured.
Please be so kind as to return the empty olive oil glass (of Your Reverence's), because I have found another opportunity to obtain good olive oil in Prague.
