Ma Sœur a reçu votre Lettre du 19 ct, et me charge de vous
répondre, elle voudrait bien pouvoir accéder à vos désirs relativement
au remboursement de notre Obligation, mais il lui serait impossible
dans un délai si court de trouver un autre placement à sa
convenance, elle vous demande six mois pour pouvoir s'en
procurer un, si cependant il lui arrivait d'en trouver un avant
elle vous en instruira, mais il lui serait impossible de vous
fixer une époque précise avant ce délai.

Sir,

My sister received your letter of the 19th inst., and tasks me with answering you. She would very much like to be able to accede to your wishes regarding the repayment of our bond, but it would be impossible for her in such a short time to find another investment to her liking. She asks you for six months to be able to procure one; if, however, she happens to find one before then, she will inform you of it, but it would be impossible for her to fix a precise date for you before this time.
