J'ai recu la Lettre que vous m'avez fait l'honneur
de m'écrire dans l'intérêt de ma tante et je
vous remercie bien sincérement du soin que vous
voulés bien vous donner pour son affaire
Cette Religieuse ne s'étoit jamais occupée de
la Liquidation de sa pension encore moins des
moyens d'en être payée; elle est donc sans titre,
sans piéces justificatives et n'a d'autre ressource
pour se faire Liquider aujourd'hui que le moyen
que vous me faites l'honneur de me marquer
devoir lui indiquer pour tacher de se faire
retablir dans la Jouissance d'une pension

Sir,

I have received the letter that you did me the honor
of writing to me in the interest of my aunt and I
thank you very sincerely for the care that you
are willing to take for her affair.
This Nun had never occupied herself with
the liquidation of her pension, even less with the
means of being paid for it; she is therefore without title,
without supporting documents and has no other resource
to get liquidated today than the means
that you do me the honor of indicating to me
to have to point out to her to try to get
re-established in the enjoyment of a pension
that the Extract of the State that you indicate to me
not having found would have clearly indicated.
