La Réunion complette de toute ma famille, Mon cher Auguste, a
donné une forte accolade à mon petit caveau de réserve : J'ai des
Dijonnais qui boivent bien et bon. J'avais espéré recevoir le
panier annoncé par votre lettre du 27 mai dr., la promesse où je me
trouve m'engage à recourir à vos soins et à votre amitié. Surtout
Veuillez accélérer cet envoi.
Puisque vous ne m'avez pas envoyé non plus
la Moutarde, J'y renonce et attendrai l'année p.aine
Donnez moi quelques renseignemens sur
votre récolte, votre opinion sur les 1827 leur prix dans le vignoble ?
comment se fixera-t-on ? Je me mettrai de bonne heure en voyage
Je compte donc sur la plus grande exactitude à m'adresser un tarif
de prix Ct.
Nous sommes en pleine Vendange, elle
sera d'un 1/4 environ moindre que la dernière, peu de qualité et
point dans tous les vignobles mal exposés. Les 1827 montent un
peu, ils sortent du vil prix où ils étoient restés toute l'année.

respectueux Souvenir à Mme Poutet, Rappelez moi à celui

September 26, 1828.

The complete gathering of all my family, my dear Auguste, has
made a big dent in my small reserve cellar: I have some
people from Dijon who drink well and good. I had hoped to receive the
basket announced by your letter of last May 27, the promise in which I
find myself commits me to resort to your care and your friendship. Above all
please expedite this shipment.
Since you did not send me
the mustard either, I give up on it and will wait for next year.
Give me some information on
your harvest, your opinion on the 1827s, their price in the vineyard?
how will prices be set? I will set out on my journey early.
I therefore count on the greatest exactitude in sending me a current
price list.
We are in the middle of the Grape Harvest, it
will be about 1/4 less than the last one, of little quality and
none at all in all the poorly exposed vineyards. The 1827s are going up a
little, they are coming out of the vile price where they had stayed all year.
Farewell my good friend, offer my
respectful remembrance to Mrs. Poutet, remember me to that
