Monsieur Pernod fils a Couvet!
La Traite de ptte L 152.. 2.. -- que suivt v/ lettre du
16 Mai 1814, vous avez fournie sur moi o/ C. F. Vaucher a été
acquittée en s/ tems par m/ débit .
Je forme ces lignes pour Vous prier de bien vouloir me
remettre une Copie de l'effet de fr 1000 dont il est question dans v/ Lettre
du 5 Mars 1814 & de me dire aussi quel a été cet autre objet y mentionné
dont Mr. Barrier de Pontarlier s'est entendu avec Mr. Blondeau 1er
endosseur du dit effet de fr 1000 - Enfin je Vous serois obligé de me donner
le Cte balancé de ce que mon Voyageur Mr. Jeannot fils (qui n'est plus chez moi)
a opéré avec Vous Monsieur le 20. ou 19 8bre 1813 ; des Compensations
qu'il paroit avoir faites alors, me rendent ces explications nécessaires pour
la Clôture d'un Cte général sur mes livres -

Mr. Pernod fils at Couvet!
The draft of small Livres 152.. 2.. -- which according to your letter of the
16 May 1814, you drew on me to the order of C. F. Vaucher was
paid in due time by my debit.
I form these lines to ask you to please
send me a copy of the bill of 1000 francs which is in question in your letter
of the 5 March 1814 & to also tell me what was this other object mentioned there
about which Mr. Barrier of Pontarlier came to an understanding with Mr. Blondeau 1st
endorser of the said bill of 1000 francs - Finally I would be obliged if you would give me
the balanced account of what my traveler Mr. Jeannot fils (who is no longer with me)
transacted with you Sir on the 20th or 19th of October 1813; some compensations
that he seems to have made then, make these explanations necessary for me for
the closing of a general account on my books -
