Nous avons bien reçu vos honorées lettres 8 & 9 Cour[an]t
dont la première nous annonce 8 Colis qui ont été reexpédiés
à leurs destinations.
Il est très bien que vous nous ayez déchargé de votre traite
impayée sur Jaggy à Arbourg.
Puisque vous consentez à accorder le rabais que Gamper
réclame pour acquitter la sienne, nous autorisons notre
correspondant d'en recevoir le montant par f 462.6
aulieu de f 464.16 dont elle est stipulée

We have well received your honored letters of the 8th & 9th instant,
the first of which announces to us 8 packages which have been forwarded
to their destinations.
It is very good that you have discharged us from your unpaid draft
on Jaggy in Aarburg.
Since you consent to grant the discount that Gamper
claims to settle his, we authorize our
correspondent to receive the amount of it for f 462.6
instead of f 464.16 for which it is stipulated.
The two barrels that the second advises us of, have also been
forwarded to their respective addresses.
