Mr. Pernod fils in Couvet

Your honoured letter of today covers me for 1,255.90 francs in eight drafts, which I acknowledge, less 1/2 per cent, at a net value of 1,249.60 francs for 21 February.
There is still outstanding between us the sum of 25.50 francs for a case of absinthe, no. 28093, which was not delivered at Heitersheim.
My house in Neuchâtel has already made repeated claims in this matter without yet obtaining satisfaction. I am reminding it of this dispute, which I hope you will soon see resolved.
Please accept, Sir, my sincere greetings.
