Your honoured letter of today covers me for a 300-franc draft on Paris at ten days' sight, which I acknowledge at a net value of 298.50 francs for the 15th of the current month.
I am sending 1,200 francs in cash to your house in Pontarlier, to be debited to your account.
Please accept, Gentlemen, my sincere greetings.
