Je Reçois aujourdhui Votre honnorée lettre du 30. l'ecoulé
qui s'est Croisée avec une lettre que J'ai mis à la
Poste le 30, je vous Remercie de la peine que vous
vous etes donnés pour l'orge et le oublon, et de la
promptitude avec la qu'elle vous vous en etes occupé,
Quand à l'effet que vous m'avez envoyez à l'acceptation
je Retarderais jusque à Mardi prochain pour vous le
Renvoyer, par la Raison que je dois ce jour la
Recevoir deux effet equivalent à la même Somme
1/2 l'un à 30x Jour de datte et l'autre moitié à 60
Jour en ce cas je vous les enverrais en Reglement
Dans le cas Contraire Mardi au plustard vous auriez le
Retour et l'acceptation en Regle,
Je ne tiens pas à avoir des petis Barils, les feuilletes
vont Bien, Ainsi vous pouvez au plus vite

I receive today your honored letter of the 30th of the past month which crossed with a letter that I put in the post on the 30th, I thank you for the trouble you have taken for the barley and the hops, and for the promptness with which you have taken care of it,
As for the draft that you sent me for acceptance I will delay until next Tuesday to return it to you, for the reason that I must on that day receive two drafts equivalent to the same sum 1/2 one at 30 days from date and the other half at 60 days in this case I would send them to you in settlement
In the contrary case Tuesday at the latest you would have the return and the acceptance in order,
I do not insist on having small barrels, the casks are fine, Thus you can as quickly as possible send me

qualité, quar je dois vous prevenir que les jours
passés plusieurs des patentes ont eté Renvoyez des
Camp, et que l'on est très Sevère Sur les qltés des
Marchandises, Ce qui Sert Beaucoup, au Mds de Bordeaux
Disant que S'ils veulent avoir du Bon il faut que
Sa viene de là, enfin Ce Serait trop long
à vous Raconter tous Ce qu'ils disent. J'espere
que par le Resultat favorable nous vaincrons les
petites dificultés,
