The following goods were sent by slow freight to the addresses listed below, payable in Pontarlier; my drafts shall not alter the method of payment, and expenses shall follow: one case, one cask and three demijohns. No liability is accepted for the demijohns.

Marks 565 B and 566, 51 litres for L. Fauveau at the buffet in Saint-Étienne: 89.25 francs; acquit, stamp and excise clearance: 0.70; total 89.95; discount 3 per cent and commission 5 per cent: 7.20; net value due August 31: 82.75 francs.

Three acquits, stamps and excise clearances: 2.10 francs. Mark 431 B, 14 litres for Chatain's café in Montbrison: 24.50. Mark 506 C for Guillaume's café in Saint-Chamond: entries of 20.00 and 11.50. Mark 585, 35 litres for [Fauve/Mauve]'s café on Cours Saint-André in Saint-Étienne: 61.25. Total with charges: 119.35; commission of 5 per cent on 117.25: 5.85; net value due October 31: 113.50 francs.
