à qui nous avions écrit le même jour qu'à vous, n'a pas
daigné, non plus, nous répondre ; si vous avez occasion
de le voir, veuillez lui dire de le faire.

Quant à vous, nous espérons que par le retour du
courrier vous satisferez à nos lettres.

Sir, we confirm our letter of the 9th instant, to which we are surprised that you have not replied.

Mr Eugène Jaquot of Gran[…]ourg, your brother-in-law, to whom we wrote on the same day as we wrote to you, has likewise not deigned to reply. If you have occasion to see him, please tell him to do so.

As for you, we hope that you will answer our letters by return mail.
