sono a pregarla dinovo apreso a sua
selensa padrone se mi volese beneficar
e de aver scuso perche no d'aver de
bisogno perche mio marito e vasi sempre
obligato al leto per causa de due colpi
e me sono un'altro mese che sono amalata
de grandi dolori causati de gota artica
donque lo lasio considirare il nostro
stato la prego apreso a sua eselensa padro
ne de scusarmi dello grande temirita e
io non foso altro mio fratelli l'indegna men

Most esteemed Signor Cristoforo,

I beg you again to approach His Excellency, your master, to see whether he might assist me, and to excuse me because I am in need. My husband remains confined to bed because of two strokes, and I myself have been ill for another month with severe pains caused by arthritic gout. I therefore leave you to consider our condition. I beg you to approach His Excellency, your master, and excuse my great boldness. I can do nothing else; I and my brothers, unworthy as we are, will commend him to the Lord, and I shall do the same for you.
