stupito che non mi rispondete io vi dico che
non so come vivere dovendomi da comprav tutto
e quello che stimo più di tutto e la legna
onde se volette venir anche per me scriver:
te al Casalino a tenor di un altra mia che
vi ho scrito, che così averete le sei cento
lire subito a Venezia da prevalervene per
li vostri bisogni, e al caso che non mi rispon:

Dearest wife,
This is the second letter I have written to you, and I am astonished that you do not answer me. I tell you that I do not know how to live when I have to buy everything for myself, and what I value most of all is wood. So, if you too wish to come, write to Casalino in accordance with another letter of mine that I wrote to you; in this way you will be able to receive the six hundred lire immediately in Venice and make use of them for your needs. And if you do not answer even this letter, remember that when you come I shall do what I have no wish to do. I greet you.
