vous portant l'ordre conditionnel de John Matthew pr 20 B/
Nlle à 175 et possede la votre 24 ct. j'observe son contenu
pour m'y conformer. depuis je ne me suis arreté qu'un
trois à quatre heures à Birmingham où du reste il n'y avait rien
à faire à l'heure qu'il est Mess. Mayhew & Tonolla brothers doivent avoir
réglé avec Matthew qui a même avancé le droit sur leur eaux de
vie. Mayhew m'a compté 22 " 10 " 0. pr la facture et J. Matthew
m'avait donné £ 10 " - " - dont vous aurez à debiter mon cte
aussitot que j'aurai 50 ou 60 £ d. plus qu'il ne vous faudra je les
remettrai à Linuville Leliere & C. j'ai vendu ce matin à
Mr. P. Towers to be sent in G. Bennett's name by first vessel
36 W. chaque 2 Hds pale Brandy equal in quality, age & colour to the one

I confirm to you, Gentlemen, my letter from London
bringing you the conditional order of John Matthew for 20 B/
Nlle at 175 and possess yours of the 24th inst. I observe its contents
to conform to it. Since then I only stopped for a
three to four hours in Birmingham where besides there was nothing
to do at the present time Messrs. Mayhew & Tonolla brothers must have
settled with Matthew who has even advanced the duty on their brandies.
Mayhew counted 22 " 10 " 0. for the invoice and J. Matthew
had given me £ 10 " - " - which you will have to debit to my account
as soon as I have 50 or 60 £ d. more than you will need I will
remit them to Linuville Leliere & Co. I sold this morning to
Mr. P. Towers to be sent in G. Bennett's name by first vessel
