Note. This notice must be brought back to the office together with the documents and titles relating to the demand. If an estimated declaration is required for a gift, estate or otherwise, the party shall bring the lease or any other document establishing the income from the property.

GENERAL DIRECTORATE OF REGISTRATION AND DOMAINS

Madame,

You are requested to appear within eight days at the Registration Office in order to pay the sum of one hundred and fifty francs and 70 centimes, representing stamp duties owed and fines incurred by your late husband, Mr Cacaud, physician, for having kept the following records on unstamped paper, as appears from the inventory drawn up by Mr Artaud, notary, on January 8, 1830:

1. the journal of his visits and credits from March 14, 1821 to November 14, 1826;
2. another journal, likewise recording his visits and credits, from November 14, 1826 to October 27, 1829, which formed the basis for 2,200 francs in receivables entered among the assets in the said inventory.

This notice is issued to avoid the costs of legal proceedings, July 24, 1830.
