Messieurs
L'absence que j'ai faite en Sicardie m'a empeché de
recevoir et de repondre plustot a la lettre dont Vous
m'avez honoré le 27. du mois dernier.
Je conserverai jusqu'a Paques, les deux traittes
de mon ordre, qui étoient jointes a cette lettre, l'une de
202f. L. Tournois, sur Gratien ains d'aigre, payable le
10 juin prochain, sur l'accepté d'Olivier & Outrequin,
de Paris, et l'autre de 126f. 7. de notre main, payable
a meme Echeance sur Mallet freres, Ensemble
L. 238f. 7. Laquelle Somme etant acquitée, me
remplira de la meme, qui vous a été Comptée le 2.
Avril dernier par Mr. Bureau, Md de vin a Cognac,
et dont vous me Satisfaites par ces deux traittes.
Le meme debiteur vous remettra le 1er Juillet prochain
une Nouvelle Somme egalement pour mon Compte, sur
la quittance que je ferai passée, alors, a Mr. Pererieu
fils: Je vous prie a l'avance, Messieurs, de me Continuer
par bonté office, pour m'en faire la remise sur Paris,

Paris May 11, 1810
Gentlemen
The absence that I had in Sicardy prevented me from
receiving and replying sooner to the letter with which you
honored me on the 27th of last month.
I will keep until Easter the two drafts
of my order, which were attached to this letter, one for
202f. L. Tournois, on Gratien ains d'aigre, payable on
June 10 next, on the acceptance of Olivier & Outrequin,
of Paris, and the other for 126f. 7. from our hand, payable
at the same maturity on Mallet brothers, Together
L. 238f. 7. Which Sum being paid, will
fulfill for me the same, which was accounted to you on the 2nd
of last April by Mr. Bureau, wine merchant in Cognac,
and for which you satisfy me with these two drafts.
The same debtor will remit to you on the 1st of next July
a New Sum also for my Account, on
the receipt that I will have passed, then, to Mr. Pererieu
son: I ask you in advance, Gentlemen, to continue me
by good office, to have the remittance made to me in Paris,
I have the honor of being with gratitude,
