Gentlemen,

We wrote you by last post,
& since in receipt of yours of the 18th inst.
As the "Thétis" cannot take 57 Puncheons
& the 60 h[ogs]h[ea]ds you have invoiced to us, bought
so much above our limit & contrary to
our wishes, you will please to hand us
a fresh invoice, & value the amount of
said 57 Puncheons h/s on Thétis half with C/o
when we have directed to accept your drafts
for f 10,000, & our f 692.153.65 till we
have your fresh invoice.
