Letter from L. Collas to J. Coucaud & Cie discussing a commercial proposal, products, prices and a possible order, 1872-05-28

L. Collas acknowledges letters from J. Coucaud & Cie and explains that other work prevented a visit to discuss their proposal. The faint central passage considers products, prices, buyers and sellers, with references to 1867 and 1868; Collas also mentions Ch. Pélisson, a possible delivery of 48 casks and C. Lambertin of Lambertin Frères before a possible order.

J'ai bien reçu en son temps vos estimées
lettres du 19 & 26 ct.

Pour répondre à la première, j'attendais
l'occasion de vous faire une visite et parler de
votre proposition; malheureusement mes diverses
occupations m'en empêchent. [Passage commercial difficile à lire :
produits, prix, acheteurs, vendeurs, les années 1867 et 1868
et des degrés d'alcool sont mentionnés.]

M. Ch. Pélisson [passage difficile à lire concernant
une expédition et une livraison de 48 fûts [?]];

Mr Ch. Pélisson [passage difficult to read concerning
a shipment and a delivery of 48 casks [?]];
we shall discuss it on the 30th of this month.

we shall be pleased to give you an order. Meanwhile,
please accept my very cordial greetings.
