Gentlemen.
Your favor of the 31st January came duly to hand.
The Brandies per "Harvest" are now landing, and its quality so far
gives satisfaction, principally the 1850; there are several Casks which
have leaked nearly all out; we will have it surveyed, & will report
to you. You will please to ship to us direct the following
brandy to leave France about the 15 April, viz
1850 pale 10 Pipes 30 Half Pipes & 20 Qr. Casks

" dark 2 " " 2 " " 20
" dark London Dock 10 " " " " " 159 54

able to charter a vessel to our Consignment, and if you find
any difficulty to charter a vessel, we have no doubt that Messrs

and were both Consigned to Bohlen, who had the "Bassman"
discharged immediately, and kept the "Harvest" back, thereby
having 4 days on the wharf before we could have the same
chance, therefore we again recommend your attention to
take up a vessel in time to secure the freight of the market
and have the control of the vessel. We want this Brandy
to be here before or early in June.
Please advise J. J. Dupuy & A. Seignette so that they
may ship by the same vessel.
