Je vous confirme, Messieurs, ma lettre du 13 ct. et
vous remets inclus le connaissement de vos 6 quartauts
Cognac pour Nantes chargés sur le Jeune Louis capit.
Guichard qui part à l'instant.
Les quatre frères capit. Madec en charge dans
notre port pour Le Havre a/ 20., Rouen a/ 25., & Caen
a/ 28., vient de fixer sa planche pour expirer le 5 Mars.
il reste encore place pour 25 tonneaux. Les marchses
pour Caen seront expédiées du Havre aux frais du
capitaine mais non à ses risques.
Le Hiram capit. Vedeau pr Hambourg
à 14 Marcs & 15 p%, sera transporter à Brême, Altona à
16 & 15 p% fin de la planche 28 ct., il peut encore prendre
quelques tonneaux.
Nous avons des navires en charge pour les ports
Anglais, des vapeurs font un service soutenu entre notre
port & Londres.

Charente the 15th of February 1859.

I confirm to you, Gentlemen, my letter of the 13th inst. and
remit to you enclosed the bill of lading for your 6 quarter-casks
of Cognac for Nantes loaded on the Jeune Louis, Capt.
Guichard, which is leaving at this moment.
The Quatre Frères, Capt. Madec, loading in
our port for Le Havre at 20, Rouen at 25, & Caen
at 28, has just fixed its lay days to expire on the 5th of March.
There is still room for 25 casks. The merchandise
for Caen will be forwarded from Le Havre at the expense of the
captain but not at his risk.
The Hiram, Capt. Vedeau, for Hamburg
at 14 Marks & 15 p%, will be transported to Bremen, Altona at
16 & 15 p% end of lay days 28th inst., it can still take
a few casks.
We have ships loading for the English
ports, steamers are running a steady service between our
port & London.
