n'ayé pû me faire de prix sur mon offre d'eau de vie de vin, celle que vous
me faitte pour les nouvelle etant si audessous de ce qu'elle se vendra
a votre derniere foire, et surtout sans avance, mon associé ne me convenant.
je suis faché de cette privation de faire avec vous, si vous pouvé y
mettre d'avantage, veullié m'en faire part, et croye que je serais toujours
avec plaisir l'ocasion de vous etre utille

I received your honored letter of the 29th of last month and am sorry that you
could not give me a price on my offer of wine eau-de-vie, the one you
make me for the new ones being so far below what it will sell for
at your last fair, and especially without an advance, my partner not agreeing.
I am sorry for this deprivation of doing business with you, if you can
add more to it, please let me know, and believe that I will always be
pleased to have the opportunity to be useful to you
