Mon Bon frere

Bruyere t'a ecrit pour t'engager a lui
envoyer ta fille, je verrai avec plaisir dans l'interet
de sa santé qu'elle fasse ce voyage, mais je te
dirai aussi que tu pourrais nous l'envoyer & que
nous en aurons le plus gd. soin, consulte cependant
un medecin pour savoir si le climat de Valence dans
cette saison ne lui serait pas plus favorable que
celui de voiron. au reste c'est la distraction &
l'exercice qu'il faut a ta fille. tu pourrais quand
tu auras fini tes vandanges aller avec ta femme
& ta fille faire une visite à la cure. au lieu
de quoi en passant par St Etienne & St chamont
si tu veux ty arretter. de la vous iriez a Lyon
& de Lyon vous viendriez faire chez nous un
sejours qui ne sera que celui qu'il te conviendra
nous ne te tourmenterons pas. fais nous ce
plaisir
Laure te prie de joindre aux provisions
qu'elle t'a demandées 25 lbs Caffé du bon ^

My Good brother

Bruyere wrote to you to urge you to send him your daughter, I would see with pleasure in the interest of her health that she makes this journey, but I will also tell you that you could send her to us & that we will take the greatest care of her, consult however a doctor to know if the climate of Valence in this season would not be more favorable to her than that of Voiron. besides it is the distraction & the exercise that your daughter needs. you could when you have finished your grape harvests go with your wife & your daughter to make a visit to the spa. instead of which passing by St Etienne & St Chamond if you want to stop there. from there you would go to Lyon & from Lyon you would come make a stay with us which will only be the one that will suit you we will not torment you. do us this pleasure
Laure asks you to add to the provisions that she asked of you 25 lbs of good Coffee ^ 
like the one that you sent to us for us
My wife asks you to have sent to her 30 to 40 lbs of good & beautiful candles
We are all well Bruyere leaves Monday
He is going to take the carriage in Grenoble which will leave Tuesday Morning at 4 o'clock for Valence.
