Puisque tu crois qu'il est absolument nécessaire d'aller chercher François
je ne ferai pas difficulté de partir quand vous le jugerez convenable. je vois
avec peine par ta lettre que tu as mal interpreté mes sentiments, je
voulois seulement te dire que si vous croyez qu'il pût se passer de moi
je n'irois pas le chercher, il est possible que je me sois mal expliqué, mais il
y a des moments ou je suis si ennuyé que je ne sais pas ce que je fais, il ne
faut pas prendre tout ce que je te dis à la lettre.
Ainsi quand vous recevrez une lettre de François [qui?] vous dira qu'il est
assez bien portant pour se mettre en route ecris me et je partirai
de suite
Je vous envoie une lettre de Vincent qui est arrivée dimanche mais
que j'ai reçu seulement aujourd'hui a cause des fetes.

I will make no difficulty to leave when you deem it suitable. I see
with pain by your letter that you have misinterpreted my feelings, I
only wanted to tell you that if you believed he could do without me
I would not go fetch him, it is possible that I explained myself poorly, but there
are moments when I am so weary that I do not know what I am doing, you must not
take everything I say to you literally.
Thus when you receive a letter from François [which] will tell you that he is
