J'ai reçu samedi ta lettre du 10 qui me dit de partir de suite
pour aller trouver françois. craignant comme tu l'as pensé toi même qu'il ne
faille rester trop longtems absent si je pars de suite je ferai en sorte de
partir [Samedi?] prochain à moins qu'il n'y aie quelques contretemps qui
m'en empêche je pense que j'aurai suffisamment d'argent pour me
rendre à Paris mais pas davantage ainsi il faudrait que tu m'envoyes
ce que tu me croiras necessaire pour le retour et les depenses que j'aurai a
faire pendant mon sejour je crois qu'il ne faille y rester trop longtems
Je t'assure que ce voyage m'ennuie beaucoup et si je savais que françois pût
se passer de moi je n'irais pas Je t'écrirai le jour de mon départ.

I received your letter of the 10th on Saturday, which tells me to leave immediately to go find François. Fearing, as you yourself thought, that I might have to remain absent too long if I leave immediately, I will make sure to leave next [Saturday?] unless there is some setback that prevents me. I think I will have enough money to get to Paris but no more, so you would need to send me what you believe necessary for the return and the expenses I will have to make during my stay. I believe I shouldn't stay there too long.
I assure you that this trip annoys me a lot and if I knew that François could do without me, I would not go. I will write to you on the day of my departure.
