mon Cher ami .

je me plai a Croire que vous allez
tous tres bien mais il me seroit in finim[ent]
agreable que tu m en Confirme par
lettre la nouvelle . j'y Compte .
je vien de remettre a un
Commissionaire , avec charge de te
l expedier un panic qui contient
100 oronges . fais moi le plaisir
de l offrir a ta femme, et
a notre soeur mad. Xavier .
Si tu ne le recevais pas dans
la huitaine in forme m'en pour
que je puisse reclamer et me
plaindre .

My Dear friend .

I am pleased to believe that you are
all doing very well but it would be infinitely
agreeable to me if you confirm the news
by letter . I am counting on it .
I have just given to a
commissioner , with the task of
forwarding to you a basket which contains
100 oranges . do me the pleasure
of offering it to your wife, and
to our sister mad. Xavier .
If you do not receive it within
the week let me know so
that I can claim and
complain .
