Les bonnes nouvelles que tu me donnes d'Elisabeth et de toute la famille me font le plus grand plaisir. Je souhaite que le beau temps se maintienne.

J'ai profité de la belle journée de mercredi pour aller à Olivet; cette promenade m'a fait du bien, mais [une courte clause concernant sa santé demeure indistincte] de nuit et de jour.

Mon fils est parti hier à midi [destination et durée indistinctes] jusqu'au 26. J'ai aujourd'hui une lettre de Vincent; il est toujours souffrant

Today I spoke about Duret to François [name or title indistinct] concerning the small [matter indistinct] that you enclosed in your letter of the 13th.

The good news you give me about Elisabeth and the whole family gives me the greatest pleasure. I hope the fine weather continues.

I took advantage of Wednesday's fine weather to go to Olivet; the outing did me good, but [a short clause about the writer's health remains indistinct] night and day.

My son left yesterday at noon [destination and duration indistinct] until the 26th. Today I have a letter from Vincent; he is still suffering
