J'ai reçu ta lettre du 17. Ce que tu me dis, mon cher ami, du mieux qu'éprouve Elisabeth pour permettre d'aller au mariage de Mme Vincent nous a fait tant de plaisir. Mon fils et [Janin?] en auront beaucoup de vous y trouver.

Ils partent demain pour Lyon avec Isabelle et Albert, y séjourneront jusqu'au jeudi 25 c.t., puis prendront la diligence pour se rendre le même jour à Annonay.

La dernière lettre de Vincent est du 12. Sa femme et Laure n'étaient pas encore de retour à Voiron, mais je pense toujours que rien n'est changé pour le jour du mariage, fixé au 29.

J'apprends avec plaisir les bonnes nouvelles que tu me donnes de père Bonfieu et de Mme [Lene?]. Bien des amitiés à tous et crois-moi tout à toi.

Tournon, 18 April 1839

I received your letter of the 17th. What you tell me, my dear friend, about Elisabeth's improvement being sufficient to allow her to attend Madame Vincent's wedding has given us great pleasure. My son and [Janin?] will be very pleased to find you there.

They leave tomorrow for Lyon with Isabelle and Albert, will remain there until Thursday the 25th, and will then take the diligence to reach Annonay the same day.

Vincent's latest letter is dated the 12th. His wife and Laure had not yet returned to Voiron, but I still believe that nothing has changed concerning the wedding day, fixed for the 29th.

I am pleased to learn the good news you give me about Father Bonfieu and Madame [Lene?]. Give my regards to everyone and believe me entirely yours.
