que je suis heureux, mon cher jean marie de te
donner de bonnes nouvelles de ton fils françois;
tu verras par les deux lettres que je t'envoie,
qu'il est reellement mieux, qu'il a été par
ordre de M. Boissy d'anglas, visité par le
sous-intendant Millet, le médecin en chef
du Val-de-Grâce, et que Mr Boissy devoit aller
le voir le lendemain & voila bien de quoi
te tranquilliser sur votre cher malade; j'aurai
soin de te faire part des autres nouvelles que je
recevrai et compte que tu me communiques celles
qui te parviendront.
je finis pour ne pas manquer l'heure
du courrier.

How happy I am, my dear jean marie to
give you good news of your son françois;
you will see by the two letters that I send you,
that he is really better, that he has been by
order of M. Boissy d'anglas, visited by the
sub-intendant Millet and the chief physician
of the Val-de-Grâce, and that Mr Boissy was to go
see him the next day & there is plenty to
reassure you about your dear patient; I will take
care to share with you the other news that I
shall receive and count that you communicate to me those
which will reach you.
I finish in order not to miss the hour
of the mail.
