je n'ai pas d'autre nouvelle de françois depuis
celles que m'a donné notre cousin tavernier
et dont je t'ai fait part, ce qui prouve qu'il
continue d'aller mieux. s'il m'en arrive
mon fils te les communiquera, parce que
je retourne ce soir à Senovert avec ma
femme pour y passer le restant de la
semaine.
mon domestique conduira demain
à annonay mon char pour quelques
reparations à y faire et retournera le
chercher le jour que valette lui fixera.
ce sera pour toi une occasion de me
donner des nouvelles que tu auras
de françois et de celles de toute la
famille

n'étoit payé et qu'il demande

I have no other news of François since that which our cousin Tavernier gave me and which I shared with you, which proves that he continues to get better. If any reaches me, my son will communicate it to you, because I am returning this evening to Senovert with my wife to spend the rest of the week there.
My servant will drive my cart tomorrow to Annonay for some repairs to be done there and will return to fetch it the day that Valette fixes for him. It will be an opportunity for you to give me news that you will have of François and of the whole family.
If the bill of 1026 francs on Chardon.. if it were not paid and he asks for 8 to 10 days, I pray you to grant them to him, without telling him however that you are authorized to do so; in any case you will return this bill to me, at the expiration of this delay, without costs.
