My brother sends you his warmest regards. He asks Porcher not to put himself out over his chairs; he will settle that with him when he comes to see us. Our own account is now more than settled, for I have received the 119 francs about which you were uncertain; in fact, it was I who owed you money.

Besides, I do not expect it will be long before I receive our second half-year payment for 1817 from Mr Eudon. I am surprised to have heard nothing of Dorion, who can hardly be unaware of the steps taken by his brother-in-law. I do not know whether he would agree to pay the 1,800 francs for the lease.
