In riscontro alla v[ost]ra dei 27 scorso Giugno non posso
rilasciarvi la Scorza macinata posta alla Vela a 6.25
come mi esibite; ma posso però rilasciarvela a Scu-
di Sei e Bajocchi Cinquanta il % col ritenere il paga-
mento in moneta metallica; assicurandovi che per
tal prezzo niente utile ci prendo, ma faccio per man-
tenere relazione con voi.

In reply to yours of 27 June last, I cannot let you have the ground bark [delivery term unclear], at 6.25 as you offer me; but I can nevertheless let you have it at six scudi and fifty baiocchi per hundred, provided payment is in metallic currency. I assure you that at this price I make no profit, but do it to maintain relations with you.
I await your decision and send you my warm greetings.
