Cesare Monari to Samuel Finzi called Magrini, 1 July 1858

Cesare Monari discusses a price he set for a bale and offers calfskins, No. 5, weighing 14 pounds per dozen, at £20.20 rather than £19.50. He explains that the goods need not be separated for varnishing and expects to ship them at the end of the following week or early in the week after that.

Bologna, 1 July 1858.
I am replying to your kind letter of yesterday about the price I chose for the bale of [Brondaz?]. I hope you will not be dissatisfied. In future I shall remember to [...]. As for the calfskins [...], I cannot offer you the ordinary No. 5, weighing 14 pounds per dozen, at only £19.50; if you wish, I can offer it at £20.20, my lowest price.
For varnishing, there is no need to separate one from another, as they are of faultless quality. I shall not be able to send it to you until the end of next week, or at the latest at the beginning of the following week.
Awaiting your orders, I send you my respectful greetings.
Cesare Monari
