Ho sempre dimenticato dirvi d'avere oltre il
solito mio deposito di capre montoni [bordane?]
gialli e naturali anche una bella partita di vitel-
lini bianchi neri a Similitudine di quelli di [Bruee?]

Forlì, 9 May 1854.
I have always forgotten to tell you that, besides my usual stock of goat and sheep leather and [bordane?], yellow and natural, I also have a fine lot of white and black calfskins resembling those of [Bruee?] [the following letters “da” are unclear], and matte black ones. [The phrase concerning their grain is unclear.] I sent very many of these in previous years to your brother in Bologna. Since they are very light, if you would like a sample, you need only order it from me. Awaiting your orders, I greet you [closing abbreviation unclear].
