Portafogli effetti adattati per rimborfarvi alle accennate scadenze
del 4 e primi Novembre l'importo della Bole rimastavi; vi diamo
facoltà di concambiarne per Bologna. Effettivamente abbiamo
acquistata alcun'altra partita di Carnicci che ad onta dell'
aumento ottenemmo al medesimo prezzo da voi prima pratica=
toci e senza alcuna spesa di caricazione il che attribuisce anzi
un piccolo risparmio. Vi ringraziamo per la vs. offerta, ma
pel momento non ci occorre altro in tale articolo. E frattanto,
vi riveriamo distintamente

As we have no suitable bills in our portfolio with which to reimburse you at the stated maturities of the 4th and early November for the amount of the Bole [reading/abbreviation uncertain] remaining with you, we authorize you to exchange them on Bologna. We have in fact purchased another lot of carnicci [technical material term], which, despite the increase, we obtained at the same price you had previously charged us, and without any loading expense; this actually gives a small saving. We thank you for your offer, but at present we need no more of this article. Meanwhile, we offer our respectful regards.
