[In riscontro?] alla vs 13 corrente. Con prima Vettura
da risparmiare al possibile sarò a spedirvi le Balle N° 5 [Corametti?]
a Rollo, di [Pz?] N° 10 per Balla, al prezzo che desiderate, e
sarete a trovare roba bella, buona, ed asciutta.
Il Sig.r Turpi non ha acquistato a Faenza neanche una
[Vacca?] salata a [segno] 20 [segno di peso] peso di Bologna; ma in altra Piazza
in cui si lavora roba che non ha alcun credito, e
giuro in amicizia che il detto Turpi pagò a me [segno] 22:50
per Pezzi N° 800, ossia N° 500 [Grovitini?], e N° 300 [matto?]
al disotto da quelli che sarò a spedire a voi.

Ferrara
[In reply?] to yours of the 13th of this month. By the next carrier,
to save as much as possible, I shall send you the five bales of [Corametti?: leather term uncertain]
in rolls, with 10 [pieces?] per bale, at the price you desire, and
you will find the goods fine, good and dry.
Mr Turpi has not bought in Faenza even one
salted [cowhide?] at [sign] 20 [weight sign], Bologna weight, but in another market
where goods are worked that have no standing, and
I swear in friendship that the said Turpi paid me [sign] 22:50
for 800 pieces, namely 500 [Grovitini?] and 300 [matto?],
inferior to those which I shall send you.
