In riscontro a favorita vostra mi è grato rendervi con questa mia avvisato
avervi questa mattina fatta la spedizione colla ferrata a grande veloci-
tà della dozzina campione Vitelli ordinatomi come qui sotto vi
distinguo in fattura che spero li troverete a tutta vostra soddisfazione;
l’importare dei medesimi è di Aus. £ 97.65 pari a Ital. £ 81.37 osservando-
vi che ritengo il Marengo a Aus. £ 24 pel pagamento e pronta Cassa
senza sconto. Scusate se vi feci aspettare qualche giorno, ma ques-

In reply to your welcome letter, I am pleased to inform you by this letter
that this morning I dispatched by rail, at express speed,
the sample dozen calfskins you ordered, as itemized in the
invoice below. I hope you will find them entirely satisfactory.
Their cost is Austrian £97.65, equivalent to Italian £81.37; please
note that I value the marengo at Austrian £24 for payment, which is strictly cash,
without discount. Forgive me for having kept you waiting a few days, but this
was to provide you with properly finished goods.
Awaiting your reply, and always ready to fulfil your orders, I offer you [words lost]
