Forlì, 23 May 1855.

In reply to yours of the 20th of this month, the credit of £15.60 which you enter for me for black greased sheepskins is correct. I now inform you that, in accordance with your letter, I dispatched the leather consignment as early as yesterday by the usual Grannellini. The invoice is given below; for its amount of £26.20 I shall await your acknowledgment that you have credited it to me, for my peace of mind. Always ready to serve you, I send my greetings.
