Je prie Monsieur Broumer de payer à Monsieur Casimir
Karpff ou à son ordre, la Somme de treize Cent quarante cinq livres
tournois, valeur pour Solde ; de laquelle Somme je compterai
à Monsieur Reiset, Recev. gᵃˡ du département du Monttonnerre

English translation

Colmar, 13 November 1806. — Good for 1,345 livres tournois.

I ask Mr Broumer to pay Mr Casimir
Karpff, or to his order, the sum of one thousand three hundred and forty-five livres
tournois, in full settlement; I shall account for this sum
to Mr Reiset, Receiver General of the Department of Mont-Tonnerre,
upon return to me of the present order receipted; without further advice from
