I have received your letter of the 20th of this month. Yes, it is the Savary C.C. Protested Bills account that must be debited with 1000 francs: four letters.
The Syndicate has just written an instruction to credit me with 500 francs, Mr Moreau, for [word not deciphered].
Here is a letter from Mr de Laroche. Send him a payment order for 4000 francs on [Amiens?]. Here are the previous letter and my reply.
Entirely yours, [initial H?].

Notes

Documentary annotation: Two letters for the [Prefect?], which you will have sent to Mr [Lorge?] if he has already left for [Belle…?].
The short word identifying the purpose of the 500-franc entry and several proper names remain uncertain. The Savary entry explicitly instructs a debit; the separate Syndicate instruction is a credit.
